• Deliver multiple concepts and campaigns, attracting and retaining loyal clients by building a reputation on creativity,
   integrity and accountability.


Senior Corporate Art Director at Macy’s, Atlanta, GA 1992 – 2009

• Manage and mentor corporate marketing team for Macy’s #1 division in comp store sales in 2008 and Q4 for 2007, a 234-store   

   chain. Responsibilities include credit marketing, gift cards, special events, community affairs, seasonal creative planning,
   brand/trend advertising, store openings/remodels and internal communication standards.

• Advance the creative process: Implement monthly brainstorming meetings to study new trends in advertising, branding
   and fashion. Encourage the professional development of team members. Mentor new designers.

• Create credit marketing collateral that consistently exceeds projected business plans.

• Serve as corporate-wide brand guardian, ensuring quality control over advertising and all external communication for
   consistency and accuracy of image and messaging. 

• Drive sales by collaborating with creative and planning teams to develop and execute aggressive national and regional
   advertising initiatives.

• Translate internal clients’ wants into reality: Deliver creative marketing solutions and strategies to ensure our product stays
   ahead of the competition. 

• Direct product and on-figure photo shoots under tight budget constraints. Oversee art directors, photographers, producers
   and stylists according to maximum productivity. 

• Collaborate and direct internet, broadcast and radio components of brand campaigns.

• Co-create and execute #1 grand opening campaign in Macy’s 150-year history ($1.7 million opening day, +210% to goal). Plus,    

   $250,000 raised for charity.

• Craft creative briefs, toolkits and best practice models for local and national usage.

• Collaborate with outside printers and vendors to implement marketing deliverables.
